Hello, everyone! After a wonderful weekend with family in Santa Monica for Passover, it was nice to wake up in San Francisco on Monday. I’m spending the week working from home!
Passover was bittersweet for sure. We had to bring Passover to my grandfather’s apartment since his health is continuing to decline. It was lovely to have all of our family together and introduce Nate to some aunt and uncles he hadn’t met yet, though, and there were lots of laughs and memories shared all around. And good food, too! Nate and I were in charge of the matzo ball soup and we used his grandmother’s matzo ball recipe and my grandfather’s soup recipe. Glad to be keeping up some traditions!
Linking up for Tuesday’s eats! Gonna be a quick post since I have a lot to do today.
BREAKFAST
Eggs, berries, coffee.
Team lunch at Tender Greens was a kale salad with roasted garlic vinaigrette, parmesan, and chicken.
SNACK
Green tea, little pear and sunbutter.
AWESOME “taco Tuesday” dinner that I meal prepped for on Monday. Tasted so good after teaching cycle. These fish taco bowls included a homemade coleslaw (dressing had vegan mayo, lime juice, chopped cilantro), cauliflower rice for me (quinoa for Nate), and cumin/chili seared halibut. Plus Papalote salsa <- the best in San Francisco! Definitely going to make this one again.
Another small bowl of berries for dessert and some roasted dandelion tea.
Have a great Wednesday, everyone!

It was so delicious! I’m going to recreate it!
I love Taco Tuesday Bowls. Usually I use ground turkey and haven’t done fish in awhile, but this post has me crazing a good fish bowl!

Me too! I wish the dressing had been “massaged” in a little more to the kale, though.
Glad your grandpa could still partake in passover traditions- Was it his soup that you guys made?
A taco bowl sounds genius- I’ll need to give it a go!
