How to make scrambled eggs that are creamy, fluffy, and may just make him propose.

Serves: 2 servings
Ingredients
  • 4 pasture-raised whole eggs
  • 1 tbsp grass fed butter
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese (white cheddar, gouda - these work great)
  • 2 tsp chopped chives
  • Salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, turn the heat on LOW
  2. Melt the butter
  3. In a separate bowl, crack the eggs and whisk
  4. Pour the eggs into the saucepan
  5. These eggs should take 5-10 minutes or so to cook because you are cooking them low and slow. Using a wooden spatula, slowly "push" the eggs around the pan as they start to cook
  6. Don't break up the eggs, just push around and slowly flip over the pieces to make sure the white parts get fully cooked through. While you want your eggs to be creamy and fluffy, you definitely don't want any raw white parts
  7. When your eggs need about one more minute to cook, mix in the shredded cheese
  8. Serve topped with the chives, and salt and pepper to taste. And a kiss, of course!
Notes
I recommend serving these eggs with some whole wheat sourdough toast and some fruit on the side. And if he's a bacon lover, now's the time to pull out all of the tricks!
